2020 Nonprofit Symposium Call for Speakers
For our upcoming 2020 Nonprofit Symposium, we are now seeking submissions of proposed sessions. We are extending the deadline to give potential speakers more time to submit proposals, as given the pandemic, we know your attention has been elsewhere in the past several weeks.
In addition to our program covering important accounting, auditing and tax standards, we anticipate that this year our audience will be interested in seeing sessions on use of Federal and state aid, lessons learned from the pandemic and case studies of transformed organizations.
All submissions must be received electronically and will be considered by the GWSCPA Nonprofit Symposium Planning Committee, which is led by GWSCPA members. Selected speakers will be notified by July 17, 2020. The conference is scheduled for December 15 - 16, 2020, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. We are anticipating 800+ attendees.
Please note that all information must be completed and should be as detailed as possible for an adequate review of your proposal. Please include as much detail as possible—we understand that your presentation itself may still be in draft form. Please review the FAQ before you submit, which contains important information about what topics and presentation formats are most welcome at this year’s event. Contact Kari Bedell at email@example.com if you have additional questions.
