About the Program
Firm partners often tell us that they wish their younger staff had stronger management, communication or other “soft” skills, that they were more invested in a career in public practice or that they could step up to business development roles more effectively. Even the best technicians will struggle to advance in firms if they cannot master these leadership qualities, and we think this is an area where the GWSCPA can better serve our members.
The Society and Foundation board and staff have developed a new leadership program that we are excited to pilot this year. The first class of the Margaret DeBoe Leadership Program will begin in October 2016 and run through next June 2017.
About Margaret DeBoe
