Who Can Join The GWSCPA?

• Anyone who has passed the CPA exam (Fellow Member)
  • Residency is not required to become a GWSCPA member
  • More than 70% of the membership does not live or work in the District of Columbia 
• Financial professionals as defined below join as Affiliate Members
  • Individuals qualified to take the CPA exam but who have not yet passed
  • Chartered accountants
  • CPA firm financial professionals 
  • Government financial professions 
  • Not-for-profit financial professionals with titles of controller, CFO or the like
  • Full time faculty teaching in a business, finance or accounting program, and
  • Any other professional recommended for membership not covered by one of the above definitions and recommended by either a GWSCPA committee  chair or member of the Board of Governors.

$375    CPA - Partner, Shareholder or Individual Practitioner

$275    CPA – Firm Staff, Not for profit & Industry

$195    CPA - Government or Academia                                 

$150    CPA – Retired or non-resident                                    

$395    Affiliate - Non-CPA Financial Professionals                  

$100    YEA Introductory  (Young and Emerging Accountants Committee)      

$15    Student
