Mark Flanagan is a Director in Aronson’s Employee Benefit Plan Services Group and Tax Services Group. He has over 25 years of experience in the compliance and technical aspects of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, including plan design, consulting, and technical administration.
Mark has been with Aronson for more than 15 years and is a frequent speaker on retirement plan issues and has authored many related articles. As a member of the Employee Benefit Plan Services Group, he is responsible for keeping the group up-to-date on legislative and regulatory changes.
In addition, when compliance issues arise on an audit, he assists the audit team in assessing the potential impact on the plan’s tax-exempt status, and consults with the client on any necessary corrective action. Mark is a technical advisor for many of the firm’s clients across all of its industry groups.
Mark earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
