2024 Women's Leadership Awards

The Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA) is pleased to announce the 2024 GWSCPA Women’s Leadership Awards Winners! The awards were presented at the Women’s Leadership Conference on Friday, May 17, 2024.

This year's award categories and winners are as follows:

Champion for Women Award:

Awarded to: Divya Gadre, BDO USA

This award is for a GWSCPA Member who is influential in promotion of women in the accounting profession; has demonstrated the ability of to act as teacher, sponsor, role model, coach and confidante to attract and promote women in accounting; advocates for women and their success.

Innovator Award:

Awarded to: Lindsay Clark, Vault Consulting, LLC

This award is for a GWSCPA Member who has introduced a new method or idea to enhance the accounting profession and creates some form of significant positive change. – technology, operational, promoting participation in the profession, can be internal or external to their organization.

Emerging Leader Award:

Awarded to: Zoe Yang, International Association for Dental Research

This award is for GWSCPA members who has demonstrated a strong contribution to the profession, community and serves as a leader for her peers. Candidate should be in the accounting profession for less than 10 years.
