Company providing bookkeeping and accounting services, business planning, tax planning, business strategy, forecasting and budgeting consultation to small businesses is looking for an Accountant to join their team.
Hours/Schedule: Full-time flex but will consider part-time of 25 hours/week
Job Type: Direct Hire
Location: Virtual
Rate: $60-70k. Higher earning potential over time. 401k eligibility after 6 months and 100% match on a contribution of up to 4%. Excellent benefits package.
Job Description: Attention to detail, organizational skills and excellent communication are necessary qualifications for this position, as well as client service and accounting experience. The ideal candidate for this position is reliable and committed to meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- A/P and A/R
- Payroll
- Bank Reconciliation
- Prepare payroll tax returns and other simplified returns
- Bookkeeping support to clients as needed
- Run accounts receivable, payables and maintain the general ledger
- Assist with client projects
Qualifications:
- 2+ years Accounting, payroll, and bookkeeping experience. College degree required.
- Proficiency in QB or other accounting software
- Team oriented person who focuses on details
- Experience managing multiple clients
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with their clients and teammates
- Run accounts receivable, payables and maintain the general ledger
