- Leading Beyond the Uniform

We often assume leadership is visible signaled by titles, rank, or credentials. Yet the most impactful leadership is rarely defined by what we wear or what follows our name.
Speaking in her personal capacity, a senior military leader and educator shares her journey of learning to lead as a woman in environments where she was often at times the quietest or the most underestimated. Her story reveals how leadership is forged internally long before it is recognized externally.
Through personal experience and practical insight, attendees will explore how credibility is built, influence is earned, and leadership is exercised long before a title is given. This session invites professionals to reflect on how they show up, how they lead beyond appearances, and how to lead with confidence, clarity, and character especially when no one is “saluting.”
